Volume 5 in Kawabata Makoto's Private Sound Drawing series, "Pulsating Electric Force", has been released on CDr on the Acid Mothers Temple label.

The Japanese label Enban have released a DVDr documenting five years worth of Tabata Mitsuru's instore performances, including jawdropping jams, heartwarming songforms, and complete and utter idiocy. The DVDr is entitled "Tabata Mitsuru no Enban taikenki".
Young Osaka psychedelic band Sonic Kettle have released a live album entitled "Utage" on their own Sonic Records label. Kawabata guests on two tracks on guitar, and Higashi Hiroshi guests on synth on three tracks. The album also includes a cover of "Pink Lady Lemonade" featuring both Kawabata and Higashi.
The British label Very Friendly Records has released Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno’s "Journey Into The Cosmic Inferno" – the first studio album by the group to feature Pikachu.

Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.'s North American tour CD "Acid Mothership Live" has been released on CD by the Acid Mothers Temple label. This is a digitally remastered version of the "Acid Mothership" CDr produced towards the end of the 2007 European tour.
The Polish label Vivo Records has released "Sekkutsu Jean + Kawabata Makoto". This is a live recording by improvised drum and bass duo Sekkutsu Jean, featuring a guest appearance by Kawabata. Sekkutsu Jean are Yoshida Tatsuya, and Sato Kenji (ex.Marchosias Vamp).
Tsuyama Atsushi has released the third volume in his solo CDr series, "Oiwai". The CDr is a live recording from October 2007 of a weird blues take on progressive rock. This series is only available from Tsuyama himself at live performances – and their availability depends entirely upon his mood at the time.
Volume 4 in Kawabata Makoto's Private Sound Drawing series, "Unanswered Love", has been released on CDr on the Acid Mothers Temple label. It is a 2007 solo live recording.
A compilation including one track by Baroque Bordello, the group that Kawabata led between 1978 and 1983, has been released by the Japanese label Solid Records. The compilation is entitled "No Shibuya: Electro Dub & Breaks". The compilation compiles tracks previously released on cassette by the Osaka independent label Salaried Man Records in 1983.
The self-titled debut album by Alien’s Social Dance Party (ie Tabata Mitsuru and Fujikake Masataka of Zeni Geva) has finally been released on the Japanese label Fulldesign Records (Japan). It’s taken them seven years to produce.
Brazilian label Essence Music has released “Ominous From The Cosmic Inferno”, the sixth album by Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno. This album will be the last one to include Okano Futoshi, who left the group in March 2007.
41st Century Splendid Man" by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O., originally released as a 12" picture disk mini album, has been reissued on CD with two extra tracks by the Brazilian label Essence Music. The revised title is "41st Century Splendid Man Returns".
The AMT label has released a live DVD of the complete 5th Acid Mothers Temple from December 2006. The festival included guest performances by Mani Neumeier (Guru Guru) and Kuriyama Jun (ex Ox). The video was captured on five cameras, audio from the soundboard.
Norwegian label Synesthetic Records has released a 2LP that reissues two early cassette releases by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. predating their debut album. These two cassettes, originally released on the Acid Mothers Temple label, contain recordings from the group’s very first session in 1995 as well as the demo recordings for the first album. The label has also released the material as a 3LP set in an edition of 100 the extra LP contains almost all the material from the group’s mystery-shrouded first cassette released in 1996 in an edition of 10.
A live recording entitled "Acid Mothership" by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. has been released on CDr. The band sold out of their entire stock of CDs during their autumn 2007 tour of Europe and hastily put this together for the fans at the last dates on the tour. It contains the same material as the CDr distributed at the 5th AMT Festival in 2006. Numbered edition of 200.
Jennifer Baichwal's documentary film "Manufactured Landscapes" about Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky and his shooting trips to China has been released on DVD by the Canadian company Mongrel. The film uses Acid Mothers Temple &smp; The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.'s "In D". The film was awarded Best Documentary Film at the Canadian Oscars, the Genie Awards, and has also been honoured by the Calgary International Film Festival, Atlantic Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and the Toronto Film Critics Association.
"Tenrin", the seventh album by Tsurubami, has been released by the Polish label Vivo Records.
The US label VHF Records has released Kawabata's "Inui.4".
"Infinity", a double album by Neokarma Jooklo Octet featuring Makoto Kawabata has been released on the Italian label Qbico. The album includes studio recordings by the Italian improv group Neokarma with Kawabata.
Qbico has also released a live video of the festival it hosted in Gorizia in February 2007, under the title "QBICO U-nite VIII". The video includes a solo piece by Kawabata.
Tsuyama has released a CDr of his duo performance with Ono Ryoko at Lucrezia, Hamamatsu under the title "O-jazz Live at Lucrezia". This is only available at gigs. It includes Higashi Hiroshi on synth.

A nine-girl noise unit led by Pikachu called Monmon Tonight have released a live DVDr on their own label with the self-explanatory title "Monmon Tonight - One Man Live @ Nanba Bears 2007".
"Experience the Concreteness", the first album by South Saturn Delta (Yamazaki Maso and Hasegawa Hiroshi) has been released by the UK label Cold Spring. The album also features Emi Nobuko on drums.
Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno's 2005 appearance in Zagreb, Croatia has been released as a DVD on the AMT label, under the title "Uncle Hardcore Meat". The gig was filmed with a three camera set-up, while Kawabata has mixed the digital sixteen track soundtrack himself.
Spoken word artist Dan McGuire has released his "Phosphene River" album on the US label Prestidigitation. Nine different groups provide backing for him, including one solo piece by Kawabata Makoto. Also present and correct are Dave Mitchell (Josefus), Mammatus, The Heads, Fuzzhead, and Plastic Crimewave Sound.
The second release in Tsuyama's solo CDR Oiwai-series "Solo Live in Tokyo vol.1" has been released on his own label. It will probably be mainly available at venues on overseas tours.
Tabata Mitsuru's first solo album in nine years "La Vie Electrique" has been released on the US label Elsie & Jack Records.
"Hosanna Mantra" by Kawabata Makoto, previously available as an LP on the Italian A Silent Place label, has been reissued on CD by the American label Important Records. The original LP came with a limited edition 7"EP - this has also been included on the CD.
The latest issue (issue 6) of Steve Krakow's hand-drawn Galactic Zoo Dossier zine comes with a double CD entitled "Every Day Since Sixty Six". The CD includes a live track by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O., recorded on cassette tape by Steve himself.
The debut album by Galax "Never Ending Space Trackin" has been released on the US label Archive Records. Galax are Hasegawa Hiroshi (Astro, ex CCCC) and Miyashita Keiichi (Mandog). Higashi Hiroshi guests on one track.

The US label Ace Fu Records has released "Nam myo ho ren ge kyo" by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. It comprises a massive, 70 minute single track suite. Please be aware that this release has absolutely no connection with any organized religious group.
The US label Important Records has released "Crystal Rainbow Pyramid Under the Stars" by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.
A limited tour-only 12"LP entitled "Crystal Rainbow Pyramid" has been released by the US label Important Records. The contents are different to the "Crystal Rainbow Pyramid Under The Stars" CD released at the same time. The LP includes two tracks, the A-side "Crystal Rainbow Pyramid" appears on the CD, while the B-side "Blues For The Narcotic Kangaroo" is exclusive to the LP.
The UK label Voice Print has released a DVD entitled "Gong @ Montserrat 1973 and Other Stories" that includes the debut performance by Acid Mothers Gong as London's Royal Festival hall in 2002. The DVD also includes the historically important 1973 show by Gong at a church in Spain, as well as Soft Machine live material from 1967, and the video clip for Gong's album "Acid Motherhood" which features Kawabata and Cotton.
"Wild Gals A Go Go" by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. has been digitally remastered by Yoshida Tatsuya and will be reissued on CD by the UK label Swordfish Records.
The US label Nokahama Records will release a split 12" EP by Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno and Je Suis France. The Cosmic Inferno track is titled "The Load is a Virgin Killer".
The US label Namu will reissue the first two Uchu albums on a two-in-one CD. The albums were originally released as AMT label CDRS in editions of 100 in 1998 and 1999. Uchu were Ayano, Higashi Hiroshi and Kawabata Makoto.
An early Kawabata Makoto solo piece entitled "Osaka Loop Line" has been reissued on CD in a limited edition of 500 by the AMT label as part of the Kawabata Makoto's early works : Learning from the past - R.E.P. reissue series. The rear cover includes a misprint - the original cassette release of these recordings should read 1981.
"Virgin Mary Was Raped By The Resurrection", the third volume in Kawabata Makoto's Private Sound Drawing CDR series has been released on the AMT label. It documents a solo guitar performance, recorded in February 2007 in Le Havre.

A CD called "Beauty and The Basket Case - Guru Live Zero" has been released by the UK label Bananamoon Obscura. The CD features the summer 2002 set by Guru & Zero (Daevid Allen, Cotton Casino and Kawabata Makoto) at the San Juan Island Egg Lake Music Faire Festival.
A soundtrack of Gus Van Sant's "Elephant", which won the Palme d'Or and the director's prize at the 56th Cannes Film Festival in 2003, has been released by the French label Mk2. The soundtrack includes two tracks by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. - " Supernal Infinite Space" and " Waikiki Easy Meat". A DVD is also available.
The Tokyo appearance by Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno at the Enban record shop in July 2006 has been released by Enban as a limited edition DVDR entitled "2006 Summer Live!!". The album is only available at the Enban shop in Koenji (Tokyo) or at live events promoted by Enban.
Japanese label Macaroni Records reissued Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O's classic "In C" on CD, digitally remastered by the hand of Yoshida Tatsuya. The jacket is also slightly different to previous issues.
A solo LP by Kawabata, "Hosanna Mantra" has been released by the Italian label Silent Place.The album features multi-tracked work for guitar, bouzouki, sitar, etc. The first 150 copies come with an exclusive 7" EP.
The Finnish label Ektro Records has released the self-titled debut album by the Andromelos trio. Andromelos are Yamazaki Maso (electronics, Masonna), Okano Fuotshi (dr, ex.AMT & TCI, ex.Subvert Blaze), and Kawabata Makoto (g, org).
Belgian music magazine GONZO (issue 15) comes with a CD entitled "Mind the Gap volume 64", with one track by Kawabata. The track is taken from "Inui.1".
Polish label Vivo Records has released "Xyosfbigkou" by Musica Transonic. The album consists of previously unreleased material, mixed by Yoshida Tatsuya.

The UK label Riot Season has released Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.'s "Myth Of The Love Electrique" album on both CD and LP. This is the first release to feature their new female vocalist Kitagawa Hao. The release includes the latest studio version of "Pink Lady Lemonade".
French filmaker Audrey Ginestet's documentary "Dokonan" has been released by the AMT label on DVD. The documentary was filmed during Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso's 2002 tour of the US.
Ira Cohen's 1968 avant-trip film "Invasion of the Thunderbolt Pagoda" has been released on DVD by the American label Satumalia Studio. As well as the original soundtrack by experimental musician Angus Maclise, the DVD also includes alternate soundtracks by Sunburned Hand of the Man and Acid Mothers Temple SWR. The AMT SWR version was recorded live at a festival in Scotland.
The US label Prophase has reissued "Hot Rattlesnakes" by Kawabata Makoto & The Mothers Of Invasion. The jacket is slightly different to the long out of print original, but the contents are identical.
"Have You Seen the Other Side of the Sky?", the first new studio album by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. in eighteen months, has been released by the US label Ace Fu Records. Perennial live favourite "Dark Star Blues" has been re-recorded and appears on the album under the new title "Dark Stars in the Dazzling Sky".
The AMT label has released "Power House of the Holy", a tour CD for the recent Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. tour of the US. The album includes live takes of old favourites "Dark Stars In The Dazzling Sky (aka. Dark Star Blues)" and "Pink Lady Lemonade".
Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.'s live album "The Day Before The Sky Fell Down in America 10th Sep. 2001", previously released on LP by the US label Galactic Zoo Disc, has been reissued on CD by the same label.
The UK label Voiceprint has released a second live recording from the 2004 Acid Mothers Gong tour of Japan. The release is credited to Gong, and is entitled "Acid Mothers Gong Live Tokyo".
Kawabata's solo album "INUI.1", originally released as a limited LP by Siwa (USA), has been reissued on CD by the US label VHF Records. The CD is housed in silkscreened sleeves created by Alan Sherry, who also designed the original LP.
A live recording of a guitar trio consisting of Anla Courtis (ex. Reynols), Northern Kyushu guitarist Rokugenkin and Kawabata Makoto has been released on a limited LP by the UK label Riot Season. The album title is "Kokura".
"Mars", Kawabata's third duo album with cutting edge French guitarist J.F. Pauvros has been released on the French Prele label. The booklet includes an album of photographs taken by Kawabata and Pauvros.
"At Last You Are Mine", the second release in Kawabata's Private Sound Drawing series, has been released on the AMT label. The jacket illustration is by Kawabata, and each of the disk's will contain a unique drawing by Kawabata.
The first and second Floating Flower albums have been reissued on CD by the US label Feathered Spirit of Mother. This is the second CD reissue for these albums.
Kawabata Makoto has provided a bonus disk of recordings by 70s actress Ike Reiko for the "Pinky Violence Collection" DVD boxset released by the US label Panik House Entertainment. The disk also includes one track remixed by Kawabata.
Japanese super eccentric alternative rock band Amazon Saliva, which features Tabata Mitsuru on guitar, have released a new CDR "Open the Mouth Mighty Atom" on their own Amazon Saliva Records label. The album includes a cover of Ultra Bide's "Kintaloid" (Ultra Bide's leader Bide plays bass and vocals with Amazon Saliva) - with guest guitar from punk legend Tsunematsu Masatoshi (ex Friction).

A radio collaboration by AMT and Ultrasound, recorded in 2002 at Austin's KVRX 91.7 FM station will be released from the Norwegian label Synesthetic Recordings. The release will be a 3" CDS, entitled "In G".
The 1979 duo recordings of Tsuyama Atsushi and Nepalese psychedelicist Gopal previously released as a limited edition of 100 cdr on the AMT label are due to be reissued as a limited edition (of 50) 10" by the Norwegian label Synesthetic Records.
