i explain the titles a little that i chose for Makoto's Listining Room in this week.
this is an Occitan trad band. AMT covered one more Occitan trad song (we recorded it already...) and the greatest Occitan singer Rosina de Peira's new album "Gospel d'Oc" will be come out soon... how beautiful the music is....
this is my favorite Grateful Dead album in my life although i listened a lot of Dead's records and tapes. also this track "Eyes of the world" is the best for me in all Dead's live recordings. it is amazing "stone" improvisation...
also this mix is very good and fit for their music... but unfortunatery this track is fade-out on this disc (because they played as medley...) i got the another recording of the same concert already, so i know what they played after fade-out now. but i was very enjoyed to imagine what they played after this track on the stage...then always i imagined they should play more trippy and beautiful crazy improvisation...it was very good memory for me.
BTW in last week when i saw the Grateful Dead (maybe as "The Dead") on the TV news, i was little surprised that Bob's looks was like Jerry!!!! but do i wanna still see their concert now???? hummmm....
i love his works. this record was released from Rumania where he was born... i guess if he was born in US or UK, he might be the great rock musician like Captain Beefheart.
